The Russell family have been involved in equestrian world for the last 20+ years. We were offered the opportunity to run the cross country course at Moreton Equestrian Centre in Dorset by Richard and Liz Frampton-Hobbs who for the past 17 years have run a successful equestrian business and many British Eventing horse trials.
The Russells manage the Cross Country Course and the use of all other facilities on competition days. In 2017 we will be running British Eventing, Riding Club and unaffiliated horse trials, our popular mini One Day event, a Hunter Trial, 4 schooling days and two camps.
Two all weather arenas (by Charles Britton) soundly constructed, with a sand and rubber surface that is popular with both dressage riders and show jumpers. Both arenas are surrounded by a sturdy 4ft post and rail fence with a slanted kick board at the base.
The small arena is 25m x 45m and is used as the warm up area for most competitions and for flatwork lessons or practice.
The large arena, joined to the small arena by an enclosed all weather track, is 60m x 45m and holds most of the competitions, including all levels of dressage (two international dressage arenas can run simultaneously), show jumping and group instruction.
